1. Day energy. The day is 14. It is already 22 or lower, so it stays 14.
2. Month energy. March is month 3, so 3.
3. Year energy. Add the digits of 1991: 1 + 9 + 9 + 1 = 20. Still 22 or lower, so 20.
4. Life task. Day + month + year: 14 + 3 + 20 = 37. That is above 22, so subtract 22: 37 - 22 = 15, The Devil.
5. Karmic tail core. Day energy + life task: 14 + 15 = 29. Above 22 again, so 29 - 22 = 7, The Chariot.

Notice that the reduction rule is subtract 22, not add the digits. In this system 29 becomes 7, not 11 (2 + 9). Three errors account for nearly every wrong result. Using the full year (1991) instead of the sum of its digits (20). Reducing by digit sum (29 to 11) instead of subtracting 22 (29 to 7).
